RIVERSIDE – A man who attempted to take an upskirt photo of a shopper at a Riverside Target store has been identified. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at around 1:00 p.m. The woman reported that she was shopping with her children inside the store located in the 2700 block of Canyon Springs Parkway when the man attempted to take the photo under her dress when she was not looking.
The Riverside Police Department released surveillance photos to the public on the afternoon of Thursday, June 8th. Numerous tips flooded in from the public and the suspect was identified as David Gonzalez of Riverside. “Without the help of the public, this case would not have been solved,” Riverside Police officials said.
The suspect called and agreed to speak with detectives. Gonzales was questioned and released with a notice to appear for misdemeanor Invasion of Privacy.
