ORO GRANDE, Calif. – San Bernardino County officials updated the Oro Grande School District about the water condition at noon.
As a result, the district decided to cancel school on Friday, March 8, 2019.
“While no E. Coli bacteria has been detected on any of the Riverside Prep campuses and the only positive test was found in a well along the Victorville and Oro Grande border, out of an abundance of caution we are making this decision,” School officials said. The district has taken multiple precautions on Thursday to keep the students and staff safe. An update from the county is expected sometime Saturday at the earliest. School officials believe that the next update will provide the all clear for regular school operations.
