ROSEVILLE, Calif. – A Chino Police Department Sergeant was arrested for the solicitation of prostitution and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
The 16-year veteran of the Chino Police Department allegedly committed the crimes while off duty in the City of Redlands. Chino Police Sergeant Jason Bemowski was arrested at 5450 Guardian Way in the City of Chino on Thursday, March 7, 2019. The arrest came after a human trafficking investigation by the Roseville Police Department involving a 16-year-old girl.
The Chino Police Department is cooperating fully with the investigation. “This is a sad day for our department. These allegations are very serious, and if they are determined to be true, I want to assure the public and the members of our Department that I will not tolerate this conduct,” says Chino Police Chief Karen Comstock
