ROSEMEAD, Calif. – Authorities are seeking additional victims of a Rosemead track coach who was involved in an illicit sexual relationship with a juvenile student.
Fidel Camarena Dominguez, 37, of La Puente, was arrested last Friday for unlawful sexual intercourse and oral copulation of a minor. The investigation began when an 18-year-old female told authorities on February 22, 2019, that she was involved in a 3-year, on-and-off sexual relationship with her track coach while she was a Rosemead High School student. The victim said that the relationship began on March 2015.
Police officials said that Dominguez would pick the victim up on weekends and driver her to his home on the 400 block of Sandia Avenue in La Puente. The two would have sex during the visits to his home the victim said.
Dominguez is being held in lieu of $400,000 bail. The Special Victims Bureau believes there may be additional victims in this case.
