VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 29-year-old Victorville man was arrested for a stabbing that was reported on Tuesday afternoon.
Victorville Station deputies responded to 7th Street and La Paz Drive in response to the stabbing. Through investigation, they were able to determine that the 40-year-old victim, a Lucerne Valley man, was walking on 7th Street when he made contact with Keseandre Wooten. For reasons that remain under investigation, the two were involved in an altercation which led to a stabbing to the victim’s upper torso. ‘
Wooten left the scene on foot but he was located and detained in the 16200
The victim was taken to the hospital for the treatment of his stab wound. Wooten, who was already on felony probation was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and parole violation.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Wooten, a convicted felon on probation, was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon and violating parole. He is being held without bail.
