San Bernardino Police Asking Public for Any Information About Fatal Shooting

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – A San Bernardino man was shot and killed on Sunday, June 30, 2019, in the 1400 block of West Lomita court in the City of San Bernardino. 

At around 2:42 a.m., the San Bernardino Police received a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found Davon Wayne Matta, 37, with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. No suspect has been arrested and police are actively looking for the suspect at this time. 

Detectives are asking that anyone with information regarding the shooting should call Detective Siems at 909-384-5650 or Sergeant Tello at 909-384-5613.
