Sex Offender Mom & Convicted of Child Torturer Boyfriend Both Behind Bars

HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. – As details slowly emerge, the family of Trinity Love Jones, the 9-year-old girl whose body was found tossed near a Hacienda Heights Equestrian trail are seeking answers.

On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, Park and Recreation workers were working on cleaning the trail when they found the girl inside a black duffel bag. The girl’s head was sticking out of the bag and she was wrapped in a blanket. For days, the Sheriff’s Department was seeking the identity of the child. The community was saddened to know that the child had not been reported missing and wondered why. A sketch of the child and photos of her clothing and the duffel bag were released, in hopes, someone would recognize the found child or her clothing.

The child did not show any signs of how she died according to Sheriff’s officials. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office conducted an autopsy and determined her death to be a homicide but did not release the manner of death.

The family identified the small child, days later on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Authorities have now confirmed that the child is in fact, Trinity. The family also shared that the two arrested in connection with her murder are her mother and her mother’s boyfriend. Trinity’s mother, Taquesta Graham, 28, is registered as a sex offender convicted of enticing a minor female for prostitution. Emiel Hunt, 38, according to San Diego County Court records, spent over 10 years in prison for the 2004 torture and abuse of his son, who is now in a wheelchair.

Trinity’s father, Anthony Jones, is speaking out saying that he had been asking her mother to see Trinity and they have not allowed the visits. He also is telling the public that detectives have asked the family not to create a Go Fund Me Account, so any out there to date, are fraudulent.
