RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A 33-year-old Ontario woman lost her life after a traffic collision in Rancho Cucamonga on Monday morning.
Niesha Lanee Johnson was driving her white Ford Mustang westbound on the 10800 block of 6th Street in Rancho Cucamonga. Suddenly, according to witnesses, the vehicle accelerated to approximately 60-70 miles per hour and veered off of the road, struck trees, and overturned.
Rancho Cucamonga Fire District personnel pronounced Johnson dead at the scene shortly before 9:15 p.m. The Rancho Cucamonga Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to the scene to conduct the traffic accident investigation.
