EL MONTE – An El Monte teacher has been charged on Friday with inappropriately touching young female students. Joseph Alfred Baldenebro, 54, of Montebello was charged with five counts, one felony count of Lewd Act Upon a Child and four misdemeanor counts of Child Molesting.
The victims who reported the alleged crimes were in 4th and 5th grade at Miramonte Elementary School. It is alleged that Baldenebro engaged in improper touching with five female students on school grounds between August 2015 and May 2017. If convicted as charged, suspect Baldenebro will face up to 12 years in prison.
