Suspect Arrested for Assaulting and Robbing his Girlfriend

BARSTOW – A 26-year-old Barstow man was arrested last week for assaulting and robbing his girlfriend earlier this month. Semaj Green was arrested on Tuesday, September 20th over 2 weeks after the incident. On September 1, 2016, at approximately 11:34 p.m. police were dispatched to a home in the 16000 block of East Main Street for the report of a battery.

Through investigation, the officer learned that the victim, 21-year-old Mariana Tafoya, and Green had been dating for several months.
