TEMECULA – The burglary of a Temecula home was captured on home surveillance and authorities are seeking the identity of the suspect(s).
On the morning of Thursday, February 2, 2017, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the report of a residential burglary in the 44000 block of Sunset Terrace. Items including cash, credit cards, and a firearm were stolen from the home.
The male suspect, who appeared to have a dark complexion and his vehicle, a 2007-2011 Chevy Aveo 4-door sedan were captured on surveillance. Riverside County Sheriff’s officials said that the vehicle has collision on the rear passenger side of the back bumper. The surveillance footage captured the dark-skinned man, with a dark beard and mustache entering the home.
The man appeared to be around 6’ tall, and was thin to medium build. The man was wearing a light purple hoodie, black gloves with neon green trim between the fingers. He had black shoes with red laces and soles on. A light-skinned person appeared to be driving the vehicle, but authorities were unable to determine the gender or any other details.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these burglary suspects. If anyone has information about this incident, they are encouraged to contact Investigator Williams at (951) 696-3000.
