LONG BEACH, Calif. – A teacher’s aide at Beach Cities Learning Center, a school for students with special needs, was charged with having a sexual relationship with a student.
Anthony Pierre Sutton, 32, of Long Beach, faces four counts each of unlawful sexual intercourse, oral copulation of a person under 18 and contact with a minor for a sexual offense as well as one count of sexual exploitation of a child. The charges were filed on Wednesday, April 11, 2019, for the illicit sexual relationship Sutton had with a 17-year-old student in January and February 2019.
The court has recommended bail of $200,000 and Sutton faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted as charged.
