FRESNO, Calif. – A teacher’s aide at a Fresno private school for children with special needs was sentenced to three years in prison for molesting an 11-year-old special needs student.
Through investigation, it was learned that Elder Jimmy Lor, 24, groomed the girl by giving her candy. Eventually he became involved in an inappropriate relationship with the child. Lor was arrested in February 2018, after police received the report that Lor, who was working at Creative Alternatives Solutions had inappropriately touched the student. Lor was immediatley placed on administrative leave and upon conviction he was permanently released from his position at the school.
Lor pleaded no contest to one felony charge of lewd acts with a minor, dropping two other charges of the same charge. He will spend his sentence at the Wasco State Prison and will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
