VICTORVILLE, Ca. – Three were arrested for a robbery at a Victorville Vallarta store on Friday, authorities said.
The suspects, two Victorville residents, and one from North Richland, Texas, walked into the store in the 12300 block of Mariposa Road and walked through the store as if they were normal shoppers. They placed several items in their cart as they walked through the store, then left without paying. The store’s loss prevention officer followed them to their vehicle asking them to return the merchandise to the store. One of the three suspects showed the loss prevention officer a handgun in his waistband and told him to go away.
Some of the stolen items were placed in their vehicle and the rest were left in the cart. The three fled the location in a vehicle. Later that day the suspects were identified and located near North Star Avenue and Amethyst Road.
The suspects identified as Billy Davis, of North Richland, Texas, Antron Allen, 35, of Victorville, and Ronald Henyard, 57, of Victorville, were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for robbery. They are scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on September 24, 2019.
