Trader Joe’s Apple Sauce Recalled Due to Possible Glass Contamination

A popular organic unsweetened Apple sauce sold at Trader Joe’s stores has been recalled. The recall was issued due to the potential presence of glass pieces. The recall was initiated after customers reported glass being found in some of their 24 ounce glass jar products.

Officials from Manzana Products Co. said that all of the products have been removed from store shelves and have been destroyed. The “Best Before” date is stamped on the lid of all products. Those who have purchased the products listed should not consume them and can return it to Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
