VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A Victorville transient was arrested after threatening employees of a Home Depot store with a knife.
On Friday, March 15, 2019, at around 9:56 p.m., employees at the Home Depot located at 15655 Roy Rogers Drive called 911 to report threats made to employees. When deputies from the Victorville station arrived, they learned that Dondero Stewart, 26, had pulled a knife on employees and threatened to stab them.
“Stewart threatened to stab employees both before and after he attempted to steal a drink from the store,” said Victorville Sheriff Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. Stewart was located in the area and was arrested. He was booked into jail for Robbery and Threatening a Crime with Intent to Terrorize. He is being held without bail for a probation violation.
