TURLOCK, Calif. – A 46-year-old Turlock man was arrested for allegedly using a taser on his elderly relative multiple times.
The 77-year-old male victim was involved in a verbal argument with Brian Kirkpatrick in front of their home in the 3600 block of Colorado Avenue. Kirkpatrick was responsible for the care of the elderly man, authorities said. When the argument escalated, Kirkpatrick allegedly produced a taser and used it on his elderly family member.
The elderly victim called authorities and Kirkpatrick was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse.
