ADELANTO – Two Adelanto teen boys were arrested for spray painting on the backstop of a baseball field at Richardson Park located in the 16000 block of Air Expressway, on the Adelanto City Hall property.
On Saturday afternoon a deputy from the Victor Valley Station was on routine patrol when he was flagged down. The citizen told the deputy that there were juveniles spray painting the backstop at the baseball field. The deputy and a sergeant responded to the baseball field to find several juveniles fleeing from the location. They were able to detain five juveniles, two of whom were found to be responsible for the graffiti on the backstop.
The remaining three juveniles were released and the two juvenile suspects; a 14-year-old and 16-year-old, both from Adelanto were arrested. Both teens were released to the parents with citations to later appear in court.
