VICTORVILLE – An adult and a child were rushed to the hospital after a vehicle and a school bus collided on Ridgecrest Road in Victorville on Monday.

Just before 3:00 p.m. emergency medical personnel was dispatched to Ridgecrest Road near Pebble Beach Drive. When they arrived they located a school bus with two children from Endeavour School of Exploration and the female driver on board. Also located at the scene was a white Honda Accord with major front end damage, occupied by one female adult and two children .

Two of the occupants in the Honda were injured as a result of the collision, a female child required an air ambulance for transport. A landing zone was set up at the scene on Ridgecrest Road just north of the collision location. The child was airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center for the treatment of her injuries and the female driver was transported to Desert Valley Hospital.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
