VICTORVILLE – A white SUV crashed through a fence, overturned, and came to a rest against the back of an apartment building on Saturday night.
At around 11:55 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the collision at 16310 Orick Avenue near Vasquez Avenue in the City of Victorville. The reporting party said that the driver got out of the vehicle and fled into the nearby desert area. Within minutes the suspect was located, but refused medical aid.
Deputies said that the suspect did not appear to be injured and no other injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The suspect was taken into custody. No additional information is being released at this time, information will be updated as it becomes available,
