Numerous complaints about illegal activity at a Victorville business in the Mike’s Liquor led to arrests and the closure of a Barber shop.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at around 2:38 p.m., authorities responded to ASAP Barber Shop located at 14890 El Evado Suite 101 with a search warrant in hand. “One of the most recent incidents at the location occurred on April 25, 2019 when a group of individuals in front of Mike’s Liquor were the target of a drive by shooting,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman, Mara Rodriguez. “Although multiple rounds were fired, and businesses were damaged, none of the individuals were struck.”
During the search, deputies learned that neither the owner, 40-year-old Anthony Allen Waters, of Victorville, or his employees carried the proper licensing to provide barber services.The business was ordered closed pending proper licensing and Waters and his employees were cited. In addition to the citations, several were arrested, including Waters, for an outstanding warrant for a failure to appear .
Dangello Keesee, 24, of Victorville, was identified as one of the suspects in the April 25, 2019, shooting. An arrest warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested without incident and remains in custody for attempted murder. He is scheduled appear in court on Friday.
