VICTORVILLE – A verbal altercation led to shots fired at a Victorville family gathering late Sunday night. At around 11:12 p.m. deputies from the Victorville station responded to the 12400 block of Flagstone Court for the report of shots heard.
When deputies arrived they determined that during the family barbecue family members and other attendees began to fight. Some of the subjects left the home and some remained at the home. “A short time after the subjects left, several shots were fired from a vehicle on Flagstone Court,” said Victorville Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “Several of the bullets hit an occupied vehicle parked on the street and two occupied homes. No one was injured during the gunfire.”
All suspects fled the scene prior to the deputies arrival. A search was conducted, but no suspects were located. The incident remains under investigation.
