VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A 22-year-old Victorville man was arrested for battery and robbery at a Victorville Circle K and Winco Store on Tuesday.
Authorities said that at around 1:52 a.m., deputies from the Victorville station responded to an assault that occurred at the Circle K, in the 15800 block of Mojave Drive. When they arrived they learned that Joshua Lindsey went into the store and left without paying. The employee followed, causing him to drop some of the alcohol. While returning to the store, Lindsey allegedly punched the employee before fleeing.
While taking the report and investigating the incident, deputies received a call reporting a disturbance at the Winco store on Roy Rogers Drive. When they arrived they found Lindsey and learned that he was harassing and threatening security personnel at the store. He was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for robbery and assault. He is scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on November 14, 2019.
