VICTORVILLE – A 61-year-old Victorville man was arrested for sexual abuse against an under 14-year-old girl. On August 9, 2017, just after 9:00 a.m. deputies from the Victorville Station were made aware of possible sexual abuse against a young girl. The victim told her mother that Carlos Franco had engaged in sexual behavior with her.
The girl told her mother that the abuse was ongoing when she was alone with the suspect. Deputies obtained a search warrant of Franco’s home in the 16500 block of Odell Avenue in the City of Victorville. On August 10, 2017, Franco was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for lewd and lascivious acts with a child and oral copulation.
Authorities are releasing a photo of Franco since they believe that other victims may exist.
