VICTORVILLE – Homicide investigators are investigating the stabbing death of a 31-year-old Victorville man.
At around 3:03 a.m. dispatchers received a call where the phone line was left open. In the background, the dispatcher reported hearing an unknown disturbance in the background. While deputies were in route to the location in the 14400 block of Moon Valley Street they learned that a stabbing occurred.
When they arrived they located a male victim, later identified as 31-year-old Victorville resident Jason Thomas lying by the garage of a home suffering from a stab wound to his upper body. Emergency medical aid was provided at the scene and Thomas was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:00 a.m. Donnell Parker, 54, of Victorville, the suspect had left the location but returned to the location. When he returned he was arrested for Murder and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
Homicide investigators determined that both the victim and the suspect lived at the Moon Valley Street home. The motive of the stabbing remains under investigation.
