VICTORVILLE – A 46-year-old woman was found deceased inside her Victorville home of Friday after her sister called to request a welfare check.
The sister of Mims told authorities that her sister just recently moved to the area and had not called her or answered her calls in several days, which was out of character for her. At around 12:53 a.m. deputies arrived to the 15700 block of Sueno Lane in the City of Victorville and found Veda Mims deceased inside her home. A death investigation is being conducted. The Coroner will perform an autopsy and will determine the cause of death.
