VICTORVILLE – A wanted carjacking and robbery suspect was arrested on Sunday night after deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 14000 block of 7th Street in Victorville.
At around 10:50 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station arrived at the home and made contact with 32-year-old Rico Vandria Davies. Davies was involved in the disturbance and through further investigation, deputies learned that he had a Ramey warrant for his arrest for an October carjacking and robbery that took place in the City of Hesperia.
Davies was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked into High Desert Detention Center for carjacking, robbery, and possession of methamphetamine, He is being held in lieu of $350,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court Tuesday afternoon.
