VICTORVILLE – A woman in the Winco store parking lot was robbed at gunpoint on Friday night.
At around 10:35 p.m. the victim reported that she was in the parking lot at the store located at 15350 Roy Rogers Drive when she was robbed at gunpoint. The male suspect, described as a Black man in his mid-30’s grabbed her purse and cellphone and fled on foot.
The suspect was described as 5’10” to 6’ tall, thin build, dark skin, with ”bushy” sideburns. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with a light gray jacket over it and carrying a full-size black or dark gray revolver. The stolen purse was multi-colored with teal, black, gray and white. The stolen phone was a Samsung S4 in a purple case.
Deputies conducted an area search through nearby fields and store parking lots. Deputies made contact with numerous subjects but it is unclear if any arrest has been made. Information will be updated as it is received.
