CHINO HILLS, Calif. – A 39-year-old man suffered major injuries after colliding into the back of a big-rig truck, authorities said.
On Thursday, May 30, 2019, at around 4:00 p.m., Chino Valley Fire Department officials requested assistance from Air Rescue 306 on the 71 freeway at Pine Avenue in Chino Hills. Through investigation it was learned that the vehicle struck the back of the big-rig and the vehicle became trapped under the big rig.
The man was freed and provided with medical aid. He was then airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
