RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – A 63-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography.
Xiang Jun Zhao was discovered to be distributing child pornography over the internet by detectives from the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The investigation into the discovery led to a search warrant, which was served on Tuesday, April 3, 2019, at Zhao’s home located at 5097 Lynwood Court in the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
Authorities made contact with Zhao and took him into custody without incident.
A search of Xiang’s electronic storage devices revealed evidence relating to the downloading, viewing, and distribution of child pornography over the internet. Xiang was booked into the Fontana Police Department and later transported to the West Valley Detention Center. He posted bail and was released from custody on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at around 7:21 a.m.
