HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Huntington Beach Police officers responded to the downtown area for the report of a stabbing on Tuesday, April 3, 2019, at 10:30 p.m.
When they arrived at the scene they located a woman with a knife stuck in her abdomen. The woman was rushed to the hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Officers began an area search in the area for witnesses and evidence. It was determined that two male suspects stabbed the woman after an altercation then left the location. Witnesses provided dispatchers with numerous license plate numbers, which using different combinations they were able to find a match to the reported suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle was located nearby and the two suspects were located and arrested.
The suspects were identified as Brandon Lebrun, 23, of Glendora, and Dominic Piraino, 19, of Covina. Both men were booked into jal for Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
