NEEDLES – A 69-year-old Needles man was arrested for molesting a female minor under 14 years of age. Richard Breed was arrested in the 2200 block of Casa Del Sol in Needles following an investigation that lasted several month authorities said.
Detectives from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department have been conducting the investigation into the allegations of lewd acts with a child and sodomy. The crimes were reportedly occurred during a three-year period in multiple jurisdictions.
On Wednesday evening, Breed was interviewed and subsequently booked into the Colorado River Station Jail for Lewd Acts with a Child Under 14 and Sodomy Under 14 Years Old. He is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
This investigation is still ongoing and it is possible more victims exist.
