GARDENA, Calif. – An after-school program employee at Amestoy Elementary School in Gardena has been charged for molesting four male students.
Daniel Ayon, 39, faces six felony counts including one count of oral copulation or sexual penetration with child 10 years or younger, two counts of continuous sexual abuse and three counts of lewd act upon a child under age 14. Ayon pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to return to the Los Angeles Superior Court in Torrance on July 1st.
District attorney’s officials said that Ayon allegedly sexually assaulted the four boys ages 10 and 11 last year on school grounds. His bail is set at $3 million and he faces 140 years to life in prison.
