BLOOMINGTON, Ca. – A Basketball coach at AB Miller High School was arrested for an illicit sexual relationship with a minor.
The investigation began on Sunday, May 10, 2020, when the sheriff’s station received the report of a suspicious relationship between 45-year-old Jovon Jenkins, of Bloomington and a juvenile. Through investigation it was determined that the victim was not a student at AB Miller High School and she had met Jenkins in 2017 while he coached at Grand Terrace High School. At the time Jenkins was also a Rialto travel ball coach.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Jenkins was arrested for communicating with a minor with intent to commit sodomy, oral copulation of a minor, and sodomy of a minor. He was booked at the Central Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $250,000
