VICTORVILLE – An Adelanto and an Apple Valley man were arrested for allegedly stealing San Bernardino County Fire Department confiscated illegal fireworks from an undisclosed Victorville storage facility.
Authorities said that Nicollo Floresca, 27, of Adelanto and Preston Haynes, 25, of Apple Valley were working for a security company at the location at the time. Floresca and Haynes allegedly broke into the building used for storage of the confiscated fireworks overnight, stealing over 200 pounds of fireworks.
On the morning of Tuesday, June 27, 2017, deputies responded to the Victorville location in response to the burglary report. Detectives learned that after stealing the illegal fireworks, Floresca and Haynes took a portion of what was stolen each of their homes. A search warrant was obtained for each of their homes, one in the 18600 block of Sonoma Road in the City of Adelanto and the other, in the 21000 block of Nisqualli Road in the Town of Apple Valley. The stolen fireworks were recovered at both locations leading to the arrest of Floresca and Haynes. The case has been forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office for review and filing.
