ADELANTO, Calif. – A 42-year-old Adelanto man was arrested after threatening to harm his ex-girlfriend authorities said.
On Saturday, February 16, 2019, at around 11:28 p.m. Victor Valley Station deputies responded to a home in the 11200 block of Chamberlaine Way in the City of Adelanto. The reporting party/victim, a 30-year-old woman, told sheriff’s dispatchers that Jerry Demor, her ex-boyfriend went to her home and broke her bedroom window as she and her boyfriend slept. The victim could see Gray in her window holding a large piece of wood as he threatened her. He left the location, driving a white Toyota.
A second call was made to 911 shortly after as deputies were en route. The victim said that Gray returned with a handgun and was by her window threatening her. Gray left the home when he realized that the victim and her boyfriend called 911. Gray headed back to his vehicle, and on the way used a gun to smash the back window of her vehicle, authorities said.
Deputies responded to his home in the 10600 block of Bonanza Street in the City of Adelanto where they located Gray hiding inside his shower. Gray was arrested without incident and was booked at the High Desert Detention Center where he is being held without bail being that Gray was on probation for an unrelated offense. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
