ADELANTO – A 28-year-old Adelanto man was arrested for the possession of marijuana on school grounds.
On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at around 10:00 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to the George Visual and Performing Arts Magnet and Middle School, located at 10600 Bartlett Avenue in the City of Adelanto for the report of a suspicious male on the property. The deputy arrived and found Ronald Reyes in possession of marijuana. Reyes explained to the deputy that he was just relaxing and smoking marijuana.
Reyes was arrested for possession of marijuana on school property and was booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
