ADELANTO, CA. – An Adelanto man was arrested for the possession of child pornography after a cybertip was received by authorities.
The cybertip was received by the Electronic Service Provider (ESP) and contained numerous images and videos of child pornography. The investigation determined that the ESP account belonged to Michael Currie, 23, of Adelanto. Currie was arrested at his home, located in the 15200 block of Arcadian Street in the City of Adelanto on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. He was booked into jail and is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. Currie is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court for an arraignment hearing on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 7, 2019.
