ADELANTO – A male pedestrian was transported by ground ambulance after he was hit by a car Wednesday night.
At around 8:17 p.m. Victor Valley station deputies and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to Victor Street, just west of Jonathan Street in the City of Adelanto. Deputies were the first to arrive at the scene to find the pedestrian awake and breathing.
The male driver of the white Chevy Cobalt remained at the scene. According to witness statements, the vehicle was driving northbound on Jonathan Street. The driver made a left turn onto Victor Street where the pedestrian was struck. The pedestrian
A deputy from the Victor Valley (Adelanto) station told a 24/7 Headline News reporter that the pedestrian suffered only minor injuries including abrasions and possibly a dislocated shoulder. No other injuries were reported as a result of the collision. It was determined that alcohol, drugs, or speed were not a factor in this collision.
