Adelanto Shooting Leaves One Injured and a Suspect at Large

ADELANTO – A man was injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in the 11200 block of Auburn Avenue on Sunday.  

At around 12:13 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to find the man suffering to several gunshot wounds to his arms, at least one going all the way through. The victim was transported by ground ambulance to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries.

Deputies are seeking for any information that can help lead them to the suspect wanted for the attempted murder. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact Deputy Jeff Collins at the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station at (760) 552-6801. Persons who wish to remain anonymous may relay information through We-Tip at (800) 78-CRIME or wetip.com.
