A man and woman were arrested after Victor Valley Station deputies received a LOJACK hit on a vehicle in Adelanto on Sunday night.
At around 8:37 p.m. a deputy was on patrol when he received the LOJACK hit on a stolen 1998 Honda. The vehicle that was stolen out of Las Vegas on January 4, 2019, appeared to be in the area near US Hwy 295 and Bartlett Avenue in the City of Adelanto. The deputy located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Family Dollar Store located at 11545 Bartlett Avenue. The deputy, along with other Victor Valley Station deputies watched the vehicle for several minutes until Devin Cussimonio, 23, of Quartz Hill and Krista Rutledge, 25, of Lancaster, left the store and got into the vehicle.
The deputies made contact with the suspects and they were taken into custody without incident. Cussimonio was found to be in possession of multiple shaved keys. Devin Cussimonio and Krista Rutledge were booked at High Desert Detention Center where they were released on their Own Recognizance.
