WHITTIER, Ca. – An Apple Valley man was arrested for the shooting murder of a 7-11 convenience store clerk in the City of Whittier.
On February 22, 2020, police responded to the 7-11 store located at 8438 Santa Fe Springs Road and found the clerk deceased from a gunshot wound. After reviewing the surveillance footage, they determined that the suspect entered the store, demanded money from the clerk before shooting and killing him. The gunman left the store.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, police detectives, members of the ATF, and the Los Angeles County Special Enforcement Bureau made contact with Kevin Hall, a 25-year-old Apple Valley man. Hall was arrested and charged with Homicide and an outstanding warrant. It is believed Hall may have been involved in other robberies in Southern California. Hall will be arraigned on Thursday March 12, 2020 at Bellflower Court. Hall is not eligible for bail due to the pending charges.
