APPLE VALLEY – A 48-year-old Victorville man was arrested after leading authorities through a three-hour pursuit through San Bernardino County ending in Riverside County.
At around 8:44 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, deputies from the Victor Valley station were dispatched to a GPS signal indicating a semi-truck and trailer that was stolen out of Barstow was in the 24900 Block of Cahuilla Road.
When deputies arrived they spotted the semi-truck and trailer and initiated a felony traffic stop. The suspect, later identified as James Edgley, failed to yield causing the pursuit.
Edgley went onto the 15 freeway south, where at Oak Hill Road the California Highway Patrol took over the pursuit. The pursuit went on for approximately 3 hours through multiple cities and freeways ending at around 1:39 p.m. when the suspect got off the freeway and parked at the Whitewater Rest area.
