Apple Valley Stolen Solar Panel Investigation Leads to Three Arrests

APPLE VALLEY – Three suspects were arrested were arrested for several crimes, including the theft of industrial solar panels. On Wednesday at around 12:00 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station served a search warrant on a home in the 24000 block of Guajome Road in an unincorporated area of Apple Valley.  

The search warrant was requested and obtained when an investigation into the theft of the solar panels led to the Apple Valley home. The search warrant was served and the home was searched leading to the finding of the 11 solar panels, a stolen Honda Civic, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property from a Lucerne Valley theft.

Ricky Stevens, 35, was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle, unlawful possession of ammunition/firearm, receiving known stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shawna Harrington, 30, was arrested for possession of stolen property and for bringing a controlled substance into the jail. Matthew Martin, 27, was arrested for possession of stolen property.

All three were booked into the High Desert Detention Center.  Stevens is being held in lieu of $60,000 bail, while Harrington is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. Stevens and Harrington are scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, November 29th. There are no arrest records available for Martin at this time.
