APPLE VALLEY – The new school year comes with exciting changes for the Apple Valley Unified School District. This year the school district has launched an official mobile app. This app. Will be used to improve communication between parents, students, staff and the community, district officials said.
The mobile app will be personalized for each user and will include district news, schedules and other school information. This mobile app will help engage the school community to help assist in the communication with parents.
The mobile app will have news, calendars and notifications both district and school-specific. It will include social media, a tip line, contacts, and sports scores/schedules. Additional features are in the works and should be complete in the next few weeks, these will include parental alerts, student grades and cafeteria balances.
This app is a free download that can be used on both iPhone and Android devices. They can be downloaded at the App Store and at Google Play searching “Apple Valley Unified School District.
