RIVERSIDE – A Rialto woman was arrested on Tuesday for attempting to pass a fraudulent check at a bank located on the 3400 block of Central Avenue, officials said. At around 5:00 p.m. 54-year-old Ruby Campa entered the bank attempting to cash the check.
Campa was seen entering the passenger side of a U-Haul truck, which an officer located near Indiana and Arlington Avenues. An enforcement stop was made and Campa, who was identified by a witness was detained without incident. She was arrested and booked into jail for forgery, authorities said.
