VICTORVILLE – A Fontana man and woman were arrested after threatening school officials and possessing weapons in the school zone on Tuesday.
On May 29, 2018, at around 3:00 p.m., School Resource Officers responded to Silverado High School, located on the 14000 block of Cobalt Road in the City of Victorville for a disturbance. When they arrived they learned that Melvin Lesure Jr, 31, and Jisel Lee, 18, both of Fontana had gone to the school to retaliate against a student who fought their niece. Security was able to detain all three while deputies responded.
When deputies arrived they took Lesure and Lee into custody. During a search, deputies located an electronic stun gun, pepper spray, and a loaded 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun. Both were booked at the High Desert Detention Center Lee, for Threatening School Officials and Lesure, for Possession of a Firearm in a School Zone. Both are being held in lieu of $25,000 and are scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
