HOMELAND, Ca. – Authorities in Homeland are asking for the public’s information about a murder that took place on Ritter Avenue on Monday.
On March 20, 2020, Perris Station deputies responded to the report of a shooting in the 26000 block of Ritter Avenue. When they arrived they found a male subject and two females who had been shot inside of a vehicle. The male subject died at the scene, The two females were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, Carlos Urias fled the scene before deputies arrived. The suspect has still not been located and an arrest warrant has been issued.
Perris investigators and the Central Homicide unit responded to the scene to investigate. Anyone with information should contact Investigator Trudeau at 951-955-2777 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at 951-776-1099 option 5.
