At around 11:04 a.m., Victorville station deputies responded to the 7-Eleven store located at 14595 Seventh Street in the City of Victorville for the report of an armed robbery. A witness who was outside at the time of the incident said that she witnessed the Hispanic male adult suspect hiding near the corner of the building. He put his hood from his sweatshirt to conceal his face, and ran past her into the store.
Once inside the store, the suspect jumped over the counter and demanded cash from the female cashier, while holding a knife up against her, according to a male witness, who was in the store at the time of the robbery. The witness stated that he told the cashier to give the suspect the money because it was not worth risking her life not to.
