RIVERSIDE, Ca. – Homicide detectives are investigating the stabbing death of a 29-year-old Riverside man.
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, at around 2:29 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Massachusetts Avenue for the report of a stabbing. When they arrived they located a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics with the Riverside Fire Department also responded and attempted to stabilize the victim and transport him to the hospital. The victim, later identified as Raul Nava was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Homicide Detectives responded to the location to assume the investigation. Through investigation it was determined that Nava was involved in an altercation with the suspect. The suspect produced a knife and stabbed Nava.
